The third edition of DecoBuild 2019, a largest of its kind exhibition in the UAE covering major sectors of housing, building materials, decoration and engineering consultancy, kicked off in Dubai today (November 6).
Organised by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE), the event has attracted 58 leading companies including manufacturers, contractors and construction experts from public and private sectors.
The four-day expo will showcase the latest regional and international developments in the construction, architecture and design sectors.
It will offer attractive and competitive deals, including discounts and unique designs within the limits of grants or loans obtained by Emiratis benefiting from the housing support in the country.
The three-day exhibition was inaugurated by Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of Dubai Land Department, Vice Chairman of MBRHE who was accompanied by HE Sami Gargash, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment.
Following the launch, Bin Mejren and Gargash toured the exhibition and reviewed its pavilions and platforms, where they met a number of representatives of the participating institutions, who briefed them on the latest materials, solutions, and systems being showcased.
Gargash stressed that DecoBuild 2019 is a perfect opportunity to highlight MBRHE leading role played to ensure the housing stability of Emiratis.
"This year’s edition, which brings together the Who’s Who of construction materials and interior design, engineering consultancy, contracting and project management, will see many entities and banks offering incentives on their products. Any visitor planning to build a housing unit will absolutely get exciting deals and discounts above and beyond their expectations” he added.
Major engineering and consultancy companies and contractors are taking part in the event, in addition to experts in the field of building materials, decoration and interior finishes as well as furniture and furnishings, stated the MBRHE chief.
According to him, DecoBuild this year has registered a 12 per cent growth in the number of particpants compared to the previous edition.
Such a broad participation reflects the event’s well organization and the quality of services and benefits it provides, he added.
Gargash pointed out that every new edition of Decobuild had something new for both visitors and exhibitors.
"This year, the event will feature a number of activities and workshops to be run and presented by senior consultants, as well as dialogue seminars discussing the needs and requirements of real estate project owners, contractors, consultants, and citizens," he stated.
Residential counselling and awareness-raising training courses will also be held on the sidelines of the event, in collaboration with our strategic partners," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
