Six Construct, a unit of global infrastructure major Besix, said its consortium with Belgian contractor Jan De Nul has been awarded the contract for the expansion of the Port of Fujairah, one of the world’s key oil storage centres and the second-largest ship-bunkering hub in the world.

Dubai Executive Council has approved the new ‘Dubai Building Code’ that outlines a revised set of construction rules and standards for the emirate.  The code creates a unified set of standards for construction that promotes sustainable development and innovation in building design.
