The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has re-tendered its Hassyan Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Plant project using the independent water producer (IWP) model and is inviting bids for the process. The 120-million-gallons-per-day (mgpd) project is Dewa’s first IWP model project.

Global engineering and industrial services provider Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East has been awarded a contract to provide front-end engineering design (Feed) and project management consultancy (PMC) services for the development of a bulk liquid storage terminal at Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi.

Sewa completes 305-km network Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (Sewa) has completed the implementation of a 305-km natural gas network in all areas of Rahmaniyah, bringing the length of the network in the city of Sharjah to 1,750 km.
