Preparations are in full swing to open the first phase of the East Hidd Town in Bahrain with the main construction work on 885 housing units having been completed, a report said.

Work starts on SV Pittie facility Oman-based SV Pittie Sohar Textiles said it has broken ground on its new training centre for cotton-yarn manufacturing skills development at Sohar Free Zone. The manufacturing facility, conconstruction work on which is already under way, will be operational in March next year.
