Euro Auctions Dubai sale ‘a major draw’

September 2020

Euro Auctions, the global auctioneer of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery, expects its next auction in Dubai this month (September 28) to attract an international audience as there is a real demand for good late, low hours, used equipment in the Middle East, and hence prices are strong for such machines.

“Euro Auctions is fast becoming the auction specialist of choice in the Middle East with a strong following and loyal buyers and sellers returning sale on sale,” said Derek Bleakley, General Manager of Euro Auctions Dubai.

“Since the Covid-19 outbreak, recent sales have presented a good complement of quality machinery, which has drawn the attention of the Middle East market,” he added.

With a strong online presence, Euro Auctions markets to an international audience from more than 95 countries worldwide, with over 50 per cent of all bids being transacted online, proving the success of the marketing reach for this sale.

“With new bidder registrations for the recent sale up significantly by 150 per cent and approximately one in three of whom placed successful winning bid, securing the equipment they were seeking, Euro Auctions is seen as a trusted partner for sellers,” he remarked.

Bidders for all sales come from across the Middle East including the UAE, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Jordan as well as from Turkey, Egypt and Pakistan. In addition, there is also a strong Western European contingent, with the UK, Netherlands and Germany well represented, he stated.

Daily Marketplace

New from Euro Auctions is the Daily Marketplace, an online directory accessed via a link on the homepage of its website at, which shows a range of equipment for sale daily in real-time. With a full description and an abundance of images, each lot also shows the estimated value and current bid price as well as the number of bidders in the sale. New to the website, the Daily Marketplace is expected to develop over time and draws in equipment for sale across the globe from all Euro Auctions sites, plus private sellers.

Machinery owners interested in consigning equipment to the next Dubai auction should contact the permanent sales teams in the UAE.

Meanwhile, other upcoming sales this month will be held in Dormagen, Germany (September 2, 3 and 4); Yoder & Frey, Kissimmee, Florida, US (September 3); Leeds, UK (September 16 and 19); Yoder & Frey – Findlay, Ohio, US (September 25); and Zaragoza, Spain (September 30).  Information on these auction sites, which are operated by Euro Auctions, is available on its website.
