Azizi to complete 3,000 housing units this year

March 2020

Azizi Developments, a leading private developer, has set an ambitious target to complete almost 3,000 housing units across 10 buildings in some of its key developments across Dubai.

Among the latest projects to be completed is its 284-unit residential project Farishta, located within Al Furjan community. Faristha, which comprises a mix of 137 studios, 124 one- and 15 two-bedroom apartments and eight spacious penthouses, will be handed over shortly. This follows the inauguration of Samia in January, also at Al Furjan.

Other developments that will be finalised this year include Shaista, Star and Plaza, comprising a total of 1,194 homes within Al Furjan community; Mina on Palm Jumeirah; Aura in Jebel Ali; and several buildings in the first phase of Riviera in MBR City.

Azizi Developments says it will focus on delivering its largely pre-sold inventory across its 54 ongoing projects from 2020 to 2023 and also leverage its existing land bank and close partnerships with Dubai’s key master developers to deliver sustainable growth for years to come.

Azizi Developments reports remarkable progress on the construction of Shaista. Spread across its 12 residential floors, Shaista is home to 284 units comprising 137 studios, 124 one- and 15 two-bedroom apartments, eight penthouses, and 7,100 sq ft of retail space, says the Emirati developer.

Al Furjan, an up-and-coming strategic location and now one of the most desirable addresses in Dubai, is home to contemporary architecture that is carefully blended with natural green spaces and well-thought-out, state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Al Furjan’s connectivity is complemented by it now being part of Route 2020, the metro route that links it to the Expo 2020 site and the emirate’s many leisure, business and retail hubs via Dubai Metro’s Red Line.

Azizi Developments has sold a whopping 82 per cent of its inventory across its six ongoing and planned projects in Al Furjan. Nearly 84 per cent of the inventory of Azizi’s Samia, 92 per cent of Plaza, 76 per cent of Shaista, and 88 per cent of Star is now sold out, while all of the Farishta inventory has been sold prior to its delivery, as of early December 2019, it states.

Mina’s 178 units, situated on the east crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah, will also be completed this year, with the inauguration of the 120 one-bedroom apartments, 54 two-bedroom residences and four spacious penthouses set for the first half of 2020, says the Emirati developer.

“Immaculately designed to leverage its waterfront location, Mina offers residents seaside serenity at its finest, as well as a premium range of exceptional amenities that comprise private beach access, two swimming pools, a fully-equipped gym and a health club, says a company spokesman.

Aura is also due for completion in 2020. With its highly strategic location and outstanding connectivity as key selling points, Aura has recorded a strong investor response. Nestled in the centre of Jafza – the largest matured free zone area in the world with the biggest port in the Middle East and Africa – and right in front of the UAE Exchange Metro Station, the 479-unit development comprises 349 studios, 87 one-bedroom, and 43 two-bedroom apartments. It is one of the few freehold residential buildings in Downtown Jebel Ali and is encircled by Fortune 500 conglomerate headquarters, offering easy access to many business and retail hubs.

The first phase of Riviera, Azizi’s 71-building French Mediterranean-inspired master-planned community project in Mohammed bin Rashid City, will also see several completions this year, says the spokesman.

According to him, the 16,000-residence landmark and lifestyle destination is conveniently located in the midst of all the business and leisure hubs of the city, and is designed to introduce the French-Mediterranean lifestyle to Dubai.

These homes offer spectacular views of the city’s skyline and ensure generous space, spread across three districts: An extensive retail boulevard, a canal walk with artisan eateries and boutiques, and Les Jardins – a lush-green social space. Phase One of Riviera is now 55 per cent complete, with 95 per cent of it having been pre-sold, he adds.
