ACC wins $200m Egypt hospital expansion work

July 2016

Arabian Construction Company (ACC) has been awarded the contract construction of Phase One of an extension to the specialist Children’s Cancer Hospital in Egypt.

The $200-million hospital expansion project will see ACC build two more buildings, an outpatient centre extending over an area of 8,500 sq m and an administrative smart building. Both comprise three basement levels, a ground floor and 13 upper floors. The outpatient centre also includes a bridge link back to the main building.

Constructed by ACC and opened in 2007, it is one of the largest children’s cancer hospitals in the world, providing world-class cancer care and treatment to infants and junior patients from Egypt and around the world.

“We will work to the same high standards of ACC to ensure that children who visit this hospital for cancer treatment, both from Egypt and around the world, are provided with the very best in 21st century cancer care,” says ACC Egypt general manager Salah El Kadi.
