Manar Al Omran wins key Saudi projects

December 2015

Leading steel scaffolding and formwork manufacturer Manar Al Omran’s new Profemax system has been chosen for key projects in Saudi Arabia.

Profemax was launched along with another new system, Profex, at the gulfBID expo, which was held in Bahrain earlier this year.

The lightweight Profex formwork system is suitable for shear walls, lift shafts and stairwells and boasts high durability and cost effectiveness while the heavy-duty Profemax is designed for thicker shear walls.

“Profemax will be used in the construction of the Riyadh metro stations as well as for the walls of Kingdom Tower in Jeddah along with the Manar Cuplok system for the slabs,” says Ahmed Hassan, the company’s marketing manager.

In Bahrain, Manar Al Omran’s systems are being used for the construction of the Treasure Tower in Dilmunia, the Nest tower, the 42-storey Forbes Tower in Sanabis, two towers in Durrat Marina, and Dadabhai’s Juffair Heights, as well as the Avenues Mall being built opposite the Bahrain World Trade Centre, to name a few.

With 100 branches  in Saudi Arabia and eight international branches, Manar Al Omran is a leading company selling, renting, and purchasing steel scaffolding, formwork and casting moulded minerals. Its products are assembled across four  factories in the kingdom. Its head office and main production factory is located in Dammam.

Manar Al Omran has over 40 products, which have been used in hundreds of projects across the region. These include bridges, ministry buildings, railways, towers and water tanks. It employs 2,500 people.
